About

I’m Alicia Lambert, Owner and Trainer at Into The Woods Canine.

I have worked in the animal care industry for the last 10 years and loved every minute. I have managed both small and large scale pet resorts, have done extensive in-person and online internships and seminars from some of the leading trainers in the industry and continue to educate myself on different techniques and avenues to bring the widest range of training possible to you and your dog.

I am a Certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator as well as a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals. I am finishing my CDT-KA this year and I believe in looking at the whole dog, from their diet and physical health, to their daily schedules to best suit the needs of the client and the dog in front of you.

My philosophy is heavily based on fulfilling your dogs needs through play, bridging the communication gap and to help you build value in your relationship with your dog, while simultaneously counteracting unwanted behaviors with fair, metered corrections when needed.

Currently, I reside in the South Shore with 3 high energy breeds and a 6 year old daughter. I understand the struggle of balancing work, kids, daily life and trying to figure out where my dog(s) fit into it all. My goal is to help everyday owners get on the same page as their dogs, and vice versa, so they can coexist seamlessly.

At Into The Woods, I am dedicated to enriching the lives of you AND your dog. Whether it’s a handful of 1:1 sessions or your dog hikes with me 3 days a week, I strive to ensure you both leave more confident, fulfilled and feeling like a member of a pack, not just another leash on the wall...
